A BrowserStack alternative for plain-language web app tests
Describe a user flow and its expected result. BuniOD generates a runnable browser scenario, waits for your confirmation, then runs it on demand or daily — and shows you which step broke.
A different kind of alternative — check the fit before the demo
Most alternatives swap one testing approach for another. BuniOD replaces scripted tests with reviewed plain-language steps. Here is where that helps, and where it does not.
Choose BuniOD when
- Your product is a web app and the flows you care about — sign-up, checkout, booking, billing, onboarding — run in a desktop browser.
- You want a test a product manager can read, correct, and approve without opening a code editor.
- Selector maintenance is the bottleneck: hand-written suites rot when the interface changes, and BuniOD re-matches elements and saves the new location after a passing run.
- You want pricing tied to the work the AI does, not to how many people log in.
Look elsewhere when
- You need Firefox, Safari, or mobile browsers. BuniOD runs desktop Chromium only.
- You need native mobile app testing. It is in development and not available today.
- You need CI/CD triggers, a public API, or code export. None of these exist yet.
- You need SOC 2 or ISO 27001 today. BuniOD does not currently hold either certification.
Four things that work differently from a scripted suite
No scripts, no selectors
You write steps in plain language plus the expected result. BuniOD records the steps, the test data, the matched elements, and the checks that prove it worked.
Nothing runs until you approve it
Generated scenarios wait for confirmation. Adjust or regenerate them first; only confirmed scenarios are included in runs.
Priced by AI tokens, not seats
No per-seat, per-test, or plan limits on projects, scenarios, or team members. Every plan includes unlimited projects, unlimited scenarios, and unlimited team members.
Failures explain themselves
A run stops at the first failure and reports which step or check failed and why, with screenshots, console logs, and network logs from that run. Failed runs are not retried automatically.
Five steps from a sentence to a daily run
An end-to-end trace of how plain language translates into robust daily monitoring.
Connect
Point BuniOD at your project URL. Public pages need a URL only; signed-in pages use HTTP basic auth or a test identity with its own inbox.
Write
Write the steps and the expected result in plain language — no code, no selectors.
Generate
BuniOD drives the live app in a real browser and records the scenario: steps, test data, matched elements, checks.
Review
Read the generated scenario, adjust it or regenerate it, then confirm. Nothing runs before this step.
Run and inspect
Run on demand or once daily at a chosen time. Each run returns step and check results, screenshots, console and network logs, and a failure explanation — with email and in-app notifications when a run finishes or fails.
Where BuniOD is behind today
A comparison is only useful if the gaps are on the page. These are current limits, with the workaround where one exists.
Token pricing, published on the page
Every plan includes unlimited projects, unlimited scenarios, unlimited team members, all currently available product features, daily scheduled runs, screenshots and logs, self-healing, business processes, and test identities with email checks.
When tokens run out, new runs and generation pause until the next period.
Extra tokens at $3.99 per 1M. Work continues past the allowance.

What BuniOD never asks for
HTTP basic-auth credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, projects are logically isolated, and sensitive values detected in logs are redacted. Account deletion completes after a 30-day grace period.
Prompts, expected results, and the structure of tested pages are processed by Google Gemini and OpenAI. Use dedicated test accounts and non-production environments, and keep real customer data out of test identities.
What teams ask before they switch
